Skye McDonald is currently a Copywriter at Dudnyk, a healthcare marketing and advertising agency, working independently and collaborating with client teams for branded and unbranded campaigns in the rare disease space. She researches clinical data to support scientific claims, annotates promotional documents when needed, and writes copy for promotional materials, while collaborating with creative teams on several projects.
In March 2019, Skye was invited back to her alma mater, Elizabethtown College, to speak to English Department students about her career and the prospective paths these students can take as they progress in their majors, and after their graduation.
After graduating from Elizabethtown College in May 2017, she simultaneously worked as an editorial assistant, a photographer, an editor, a content-marketing blogger for 5 separate companies, and a social media marketer for 7 different companies on 17 different accounts.
Skye’s expertise includes pharmaceutical copywriting, narrative, feature, and long-form writing; reporting; copy editing; blogging; photographing; and social media marketing.
She is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities to hone her skills in all of these positions, and to grow as a writer in all of these subjects.
